About the Forum

    Founded in May, 2007 Registered as a corporate juridical person in Apr, 2010 Registered as Parliamentary Study Group since June, 2012

    Around 200 members from the National Assembly, government, business, civil society, academic experts, the press, and so on

Missions
  • 1.
    To discuss Climate Change Responses with policy decision makers, stakeholders and experts
  • 2.
    To propose and support legislation and policy-making regarding Climate Change Reponses
  • 3.
    To conduct campaigns to promote a public awareness and practical actions on Climate Change issues

Main Activities
  • Policy conference and seminar to establish policy directions based on opinions from various stakeholders about current legislation and policy issues
  • Working on legislation to legalize the debated policy directions as the National Assembly Caucus
  • Field research to collect information from the regions affected by climate change and from related facilities to revise policies
  • Campaign for climate action such as Earth Day(22 April), World Environmental Day(5 June), Energy Day(22 August)
  • Climate education for university students with various lectures and model COP
  • ‘Green Climate Award’to encourage climate action by organizations and individuals dedicated and to disseminate the best case from public, business, local government, citizens, students, and the press.
